Yes. Our cancellation policy depends on the type of safari booked and the suppliers involved. Please note that gorilla trekking permits are issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority and are subject to their cancellation and refund policies. We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

Uganda is a year round destination. However, the dry seasons offer the best trekking and game viewing conditions:

  • June to September
  • December to February

The rainy seasons can also be rewarding, with fewer visitors, lush landscapes, and excellent birdwatching opportunities.

A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required for most international travelers entering Uganda.

Additional recommended vaccinations may include:

  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Typhoid
  • Tetanus
  • Rabies (for extended outdoor activities)

Consult your healthcare provider or travel clinic before your trip for personalized medical advice.

Uganda is considered one of East Africa's most welcoming and rewarding travel destinations. National parks and tourist areas are generally safe, and our experienced guides prioritize your safety throughout your journey.

As with any international destination, we recommend:

  • Following your guide's instructions.
  • Keeping valuables secure.
  • Respecting local customs.
  • Purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.
